Early Arrivals

2025-2026 Premier Plan

Early Arrival refers to specific incoming student groups arriving before the annual Premier Plan Year’s Effective Date of August 15. They are required to have health insurance coverage before August 15, and are charged for summer coverage under the 25-26 Plan Year. If waiving, the effective date of other coverage is earlier than the date required to waive the annual Plan and is listed below.

Enrollment information for the 2026-2027 annual Premier Plan should be available by July 1. Your 2026-2027 annual Plan election will, by default, also apply to your 2025-2026 Early Summer Arrival election. For example, if your annual coverage includes dependent coverage, your Early Arrival coverage will too.

Amendment to the Acceptance and Waiver Terms of Agreement

The Acceptance and Waiver Terms of Agreement and conditions for the 2026-2027 Premier Plan apply to the 2025-2026 Early Arrivals, except for the plan benefits and the conditions listed below. The 2025-2026 Premier Plan Certificate of Coverage benefits apply to the Early Arrivals. In addition, there is a $28 administrative fee included in the Early Arrival rates and the 2026-2027 Plan provisions are amended as indicated below.

Masters of Policy Management (MPM), Nurse Anesthesia Students (DNAP), and Medical Students returning from a Leave of Absence

  • Early Summer Arrival coverage dates are June 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026
  • Additional 25-26 Plan charge is $922
  • If waiving, the effective date for other coverage must be no later than June 1, 2026
  • 25-26 Pro-rated Premium
    • $1,844 per student & spouse
    • $1,844 per student & one or more children
    • $2,766 per student, spouse, and one or more children

Community Scholars Program, GEMS Program, Biomedical PHD students, and Law Foundations

  • Early Summer Arrival coverage dates are July 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026
  • Additional 25-26 Plan charge is $562
  • If waiving, the effective date for other coverage must be no later than July 1, 2026
  • 25-26 Pro-rated Premium
    • $1,124 per student & spouse
    • $1,124 per student & one or more children
    • $1,686 per student, spouse, and one or more children

Student-Athlete Preseason Training

  • Early Summer Arrival coverage dates are July 15, 2026 through August 14, 2026
  • Additional 25-26 Plan charge is $396
  • If waiving, the effective date for other coverage must be no later than July 15, 2026
  • 25-26 Pro-rated Premium
    • $792 per student & spouse
    • $792 per student & one or more children
    • $1,188 per student, spouse, and one or more children

Medical Students, Masters in Business Administration, PHLG – Special Masters Program, Masters in Management, Law Foundations – Cohort II, and Masters in Global Real Assets

  • Early Summer Arrival coverage dates are August 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026
  • Additional 25-26 Plan charge is $195
  • If waiving, the effective date for other coverage must be no later than August 1, 2026
  • 25-26 Pro-rated Premium
    • $390 per student & spouse
    • $390 per student & one or more children
    • $585 per student, spouse, and one or more children
