Platinum Premier Plan
Once per Academic Year, most full-time students in a degree program are charged for and required to purchase the Premier Plan unless they waive it with other adequate health insurance that meets the University’s requirements.
We highly recommend that you understand the enrollment policies, procedures and plan details including exclusions and limitations. The Certificate of Coverage describes the plan details and enrollment is subject to maintaining the Plan’s eligibility requirements.
Beginning on November 14, if you have a Spring 2025 charge on your student account and would like to activate your coverage or add dependents during Open Enrollment, which ends January 31, complete the acceptance section of the Spring application linked below. The application must be accessed through your GU Email account in order for it to be captured for processing.
Prorated refunds are not granted. If you expect to enroll in other coverage in mid-year, consider waiving the Premier Plan during Open Enrollment by purchasing other coverage to bridge any gap in coverage.
